Church San Guerg

The Church San Guerg or St. George’s Basilica is visited by thousands of tourists (locals and foreigners), the whole year round. Upon entering the Basilica, you will notice intricate designs of the building’s interior. Hence, a lot of people can be seen walking around the surroundings, admiring the paintings, ornaments and the glorious ceiling creations even though there is a mass going on.

If you decide to step inside the Basilica, be sure to keep noise at a minimum level with or without a mass going on. This is an excellent way to see historical places of Switzerland while being able to pay respects to your faith.
